About The Venue

Cartwrights Swim Schools have been operating at this venue for many years now. This pool is 25 metres in length and benefits from a 1.1 metre shallow end and a 3.5 metre deep end, which is ideal for teaching diving. Due to the size of this pool we are able to accommodate 5 groups at any one time. This has worked well over the years for families with more than one child.

Our programme here allows swimmers to progress naturally along the pool and meets the needs of all abilities. At this venue we have been operating a student teachers programme for our older swimmers and the level one swimming teacher’s certificate for our 16 year olds. Since 1991 the swim school has also been providing swimming tuition for local people with special needs.
